§ Work

What runs through Topmost.

Topmost is a holding company, but most of what it does is work: consulting, advising, and building new companies. The holdings follow from that work, not the other way around.

Consulting

An operator in the room, not a deck on the shelf.

Companies bring Topmost in when they need execution, not theory. Engagements are scoped to the problem in front of them: tightening operations, fixing what is broken, and standing up the systems a growing company outgrows. The work is hands-on and measured by what changes.

01Operations and systems that scale with the business
02Scoped to the problem, not a fixed retainer
03Hands-on delivery, not a recommendation deck
04Measured by outcomes, not hours billed

Advising

Guidance that compounds over time.

Ongoing work with founders and leaders on the decisions that decide whether a company makes it: go-to-market, growth, hiring, and the operational calls that are easy to get wrong. Advisory relationships are earned through real involvement, not granted for a name on a website. Earlier, this included facilitating Founder Institute cohorts.

01Go-to-market and growth strategy
02Operational and hiring decisions
03Founder-level involvement, not a logo
04Built on relationships, earned through the work

Building companies

New companies, built from zero.

Some of the work is starting things. New companies built from nothing, with direct involvement in the parts that matter early: the product, the first customers, the go-to-market. Some become long-term holdings; all of them get more than a check.

01Started and built from formation
02Direct involvement in product and go-to-market
03Founder-level commitment, not passive backing
04Some become long-term holdings
